Kapil Sharma At 10th, Who Is The Highest Taxpayer In The Celebrity List 2024

As the fiscal year 2024 draws to a close, the spotlight on India’s top celebrity taxpayers has revealed some impressive figures, starting with the notable contributions from the entertainment and sports industry.

At the 10th position is comedian Kapil Sharma, who paid Rs 26 crore in taxes. He is followed by cricketing legend Sourav Ganguly, who contributed Rs 23 crore, and Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor with Rs 20 crore.

Shahid Kapoor stands next with Rs 14 crore, alongside Mohanlal and Allu Arjun, each contributing Rs 14 crore as well. Hardik Pandya and Kiara Advani are next, with Rs 13 crore and Rs 12 crore, respectively, while Pankaj Tripathi and Katrina Kaif each contributed Rs 11 crore.

In the mid-range of celebrities, Ranbir Kapoor paid Rs 36 crore, while former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni followed with Rs 38 crore. Ajay Devgn, known for his roles in numerous hit films, contributed Rs 42 crore.

Moving towards the top, cricketing star Virat Kohli paid Rs 66 crore, reflecting his significant earnings from the sport. Amitabh Bachchan, Bollywood’s legendary actor, contributed Rs 71 crore, followed by Salman Khan, who paid Rs 75 crore who’s at third position. The second position is claimed by Tamil cinema actor Thalapathy Vijay, who has reportedly paid Rs 80 crore in taxes.

Leading the list, and making headlines, is Shah Rukh Khan, who topped the charts with an astounding Rs 92 crore in taxes.
