RSSB, Beas News: In a profound shift within the Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB), a new spiritual leader has been appointed, marking a pivotal moment for the organization’s future. Gurinder Singh Dhillon, the revered head of RSSB, has nominated Jasdeep Singh Gill as the next patron and ‘sant satguru’ of the organization.

With immediate effect, Jasdeep Singh Gill, a 45-year-old chemical engineering doctorate from Cambridge and an IIT Delhi alumnus, will assume his role as the new spiritual guide, marking the end of Dhillon’s long-standing leadership.

The organization, nestled by the Beas River near Amritsar, has offered spiritual guidance since 1891. Founded by Jaimal Singh, it carries a deep spiritual heritage. Its roots trace back to Shiv Dayal Singh, who started the Radha Soami movement in the mid-19th century.

Since then, spiritual leadership of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB) has been passed down through a line of respected leaders, including –

  1. Shiv Dayal Singh (1861 – 1878)
  2. Jaimal Singh (1878-1903)
  3. Sawan Singh (1903-1948)
  4. Jagat Singh (1948-1951)
  5. Charan Singh (1951-1990)
  6. Gurinder Singh (1990-2024)
  7. Jasdeep Singh Gill (recently appointed in 2024)

What makes this new transition so intriguing is the background of the newly appointed leader, Jasdeep Singh Gill. Gill is a man of science, a doctorate holder from Cambridge with a background in chemical engineering, making him one of the most highly educated RSSB leaders ever.

But, who is new RSSB Jasdeep Singh Gill? Read more.
